IMPRESSIONS

In the late 19th century, the banks of the Seine around Muids inspired a way of life that the Impressionists sought to capture on canvas. Renoir celebrated convivial gatherings, Monet painted the river’s shifting reflections, while Caillebotte and Sisley found poetry in gardens and changing seasons. Drawing on this heritage, the house revives the same sense of light, freedom and effortless riverside living.
