Where to work remotely in the countryside near Paris?
At Rive, in Muids, on the banks of the Seine. The house is 1h20 from Paris by car, or 1h by train from Saint-Lazare to Gaillon-Aubevoye, then a 20-minute taxi. Far enough for a change of scene, close enough to leave in the morning and be at your laptop before 10.
The difference with a holiday rental: you don't work at the corner of the kitchen table. There's a whole room for it.
What is the workspace like?
A dedicated, comfortable room, built for full working days.
- Individual desks with 4K monitors, for focused work.
- A meeting table for 10, for team sessions.
- A video-conferencing screen and webcam, for calls with whoever stayed in Paris.
- A whiteboard.
- Very high-speed wifi that handles several video calls at once.
Pistou has the same workspace, video-conferencing screen included.

An offsite for a small team near Paris
Rive sleeps up to 14, with a bedroom and bathroom for each person or pair. The house is private: no other guests, no confidential talks at a hotel bar.
With Side for Work, one night gives you two working days: arrive at 9am, leave the next day at 4pm. Between sessions there's pétanque, a boat trip on the Seine, the poker room, and a riverside run in the morning for the brave.
From €650 per night for the whole house, that's under €50 per person for 14 guests, breakfast and housekeeping included.
An offsite in Provence with a workspace
Pistou is in Eygalières, in the heart of the Alpilles, a two-minute walk from the village. 6 en-suite bedrooms, up to 13 guests. Same workspace as Rive, with a video-conferencing screen. And around it: sauna, gym, cinema room, summer kitchen, outdoor bar.
Avignon TGV station is 35 minutes away, Marseille airport 50. For a winter offsite in the sun, or a remote work week that smells of olive oil. From €980 per night for the whole house in low season.
What about meals?
Breakfast is served every morning. For the rest, two options you can mix:
- Mamiche dishes, our favourite Paris caterer: lasagne, hachis parmentier, vegetable tian, delivered with salads. €25 per person per meal, delivery included.
